My primary goal in textile design is not to keep up with the trend, but to create long-lasting material that is coherent with my individual artistic practice. This is one of the fundamental pillars of environmental awareness for me. The other is to always work with natural material produced by domestic manufacturers, to help keep them running.
In 2009, on the occasion of the Centenary Year of Futurism, I designed a collection of ten patterns that reflect this movement. The basically black and white collection inspired by playful geometry and kaleidoscopic effect. This year in London, I will present new versions of these patterns.
